How We Verify Professionals
A badge on ProWorxx means something specific. This page explains exactly what we check, how each badge is earned, and how to tell verified facts from self-reported details.
Our verification principles
- Specific, never vague. We verify individual records — identity, license, insurance — not a blanket “verified” stamp.
- Only what is on file. A badge appears only when the underlying record exists in our system. We never fake or infer credentials.
- Not for sale. Preferred and Network status is earned through documented performance, not payment.
- Clearly labeled otherwise. Anything we have not reviewed is labeled as unverified, self-reported information.
What the verification process covers
Identity review
We confirm the business exists and that the person claiming or enrolling a profile actually represents it — including email verification during claims.
License check
For trades and professions Florida licenses, we review the license record and note its status. Badges are never applied to unlicensed work that requires a license.
Insurance documentation
Qualified and higher tiers provide current insurance documentation, which we keep on file privately and track for expiration.
Ongoing compliance monitoring
Verification is not one-and-done. We track expiration dates and request updated documents. Lapsed records can remove a badge.
Performance within the network
Preferred and Network Qualified status is earned through documented, satisfactory completed work — it cannot be bought.

Proven with us
Qualified and proven through satisfactory work completed within the participating network. Preferred status is earned through documented performance, not paid upgrades.
